T.J. Sweaters Ltd. is the 100% export oriented sweater industry in Bangladesh. It was established in 2009 at 16/7, Sataish Road, Gazipura, Tongi, Gazipur-1712 The company's mission is to manufacture and export different types of quality sweater as per buyer's requirement. Now we have 120,000 square feet of total floor space and 1,400 Nos. of Flat Knitting Machines of 3, 5, 7 & 12 GG.

NATURE OF BUSINESS:

We  are 100% export oriented sweater manufacturing company as per buyer's requirements.

OUR BUYER'S LIST:

We have experience of working with some world reputed buyers. The list of our buyers are given bellow:

WORKING HOURS:

6 days in a week and 8 hours in each day. So normally 48 hours in a week. Sometimes 10 hours in a day with overtime allowance. Fri day is closed.

TYPE OF PRODUCTS:

Any style as per requirement of buyer in Cotton, Acrylic, Viscose, Wool, Nylon, Mohair like, Cashmere like, Smiling, Chenille, Melange,  cotton like, and any type of imported fancy yarn.

QUALITY CONTROL TEAM:

We have a strong QC team under a quality assurance Manager in our factory. These full time QC's do inline inspection in each section. All the quality controllers submit their daily reports to Q.A manager with highlighting the major points with final comments and suggest how to rectify the problems to the production team. After maintaining the above procedure, the Q.A manager carries his own final inspection. If Q.A manager feels the goods are standard for buyer's inspection, then we invite the inspection authority for final inspection.

BROKEN NEEDLE RECORD PROCEDURE:

The store officer is maintaining the broken needles record and he is the only Person who will issue the needles and receive the broken needles from the operators. We maintain a register book section wise for these broken needles.

METAL DETECTOR MACHINE:

We check our garments with metal detector machines. This procedure is done after poly the garments. If any garment is contaminated with metal, we then find out the metal from the garment and maintain a register for these metal. Unfortunately if this metal is found in the garment then we destroy the particular garment. After passing through the detector, we keep the garments in an export carton and a metal checked seal is given on the carton so that we can sort out the metal checked carton

ELECTRICITY FACILITY:

Beside govt. facilities of electricity, we have our own 250 & 150 KVA (2-SETS) stand by generators to keep full stream of production at all time.

DUST REMOVER MACHINE:

Dust removing procedure is not done manually in our factory. We have imported dust remover machine to export dust free goods.

OIL SPOT REMOVER MACHINE:

Oil spot is a major problem for garments, which have a bad effect on quality. So we have imported oil spot remover machine to ensure oil spot free garments.

WATER SUPPLY:

Company has made its own water supply facility.

DOCTOR'S FACILITY:

One doctor and two nurses are always available for medical treatment. In addition to that we ensure the sufficient medicines and help our workers for necessary treatment in our factory.

CHILD CARE FACILITY:
We have child care facility, so that female workers who have babies can bring their children in the factory while working.

NO CHILD LABOUR:

All workers working in the factory are above the age of 18. All workers are given written declaration of their age. If there is a doubt regarding their age, they are examined or verified by the civil surgeons of Bangladesh. This is the procedure of labor law and hence we make sure there is no child labor in our factory.

ACCESS AND EXIT FACILITY:

Factory building has four (4) wide stairs.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

Health and safety of our employees is our out most priority. We check on regular basis in order to ensure that all electric lines and equipment are safe. Our factory has fire evacuation plans in each floor and regular fire drills are carried out and timed. Our factory is of totally no smoking place and there are required numbers of fire extinguishers & fire alarm bells are installed in different places of the building and those are regularly checked.

DINING FACILITY:

Dining space is available in our factory.

LEAD TIME:

The normal lead-time for local yarn & accessories is from 60-90 days & for imported yarn & accessories is from 90-120 days.
